The senior management and staff of G-Force are vitally concerned with the health and safety of its workers. Protection of workers from injury or occupational illness, as well as doing no harm to the public or environment, are forefront objectives.
G-Force is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment. All senior management, supervisors, and workers are dedicated to our continuing objective of reducing the risk of injury.
Our trained safety personnel perform job hazard and safety assessments daily, internal safety audits, as well as conduct mandatory monthly safety meetings.
Supervisors are held accountable for the health and safety of workers under their supervision. Supervisors are subject to various duties in the workplace, including the duty to ensure that machinery and equipment are safe, and that workers work in compliance with our established safe work practices and procedures.
Every employee must protect his or her own safety, as well as the safety of others around, and have stop work authority.
G-Force, as an employer, is ultimately responsible for worker health and safety, and is an integral part of our organization starting from the top down.
As president of G-Force, I give you my personal commitment that I will comply with my duties under the OSHA Act, and take every reasonable precaution toward the protection of all workers in the workplace.
President and CEO
G-Force & Associates, Inc.
At G-Force we are dedicated to providing safe operations at all of our work locations. We operate with the highest of standards and concern for public and environmental safety, as well as the safety of our employees. For the past years we have been providing construction services to the public, as well as the oil and gas and industrial sectors.
We endeavor to continually exceed regulatory requirements and customer expectations. Prior to project startup, we determine and implement best practices to ensure the lowest possible environmental impact. For example, BMP’s are considered and implemented for all phases of construction, i.e., storage areas, loading and unloading operations, excavation area run-off, etc.
Health and Safety
Operations – G-Force is committed to creating and fostering a safe, healthy and injury-free workplace. Our employees and subcontractors are our most valuable assets, and subsequently, the health and safety of each of them is our first priority. It is imperative, in order to ensure each and every employee and partner returns home safely at the end of each day, that safety be considered an essential component in each and every facet of our business. Some tenets of G-Force’s safety program include:
Stop Work Authority – At G-Force, every employee, regardless of seniority or tenure, has the right, authority, obligation and responsibility to stop any work actions if they are deemed or considered to be unsafe.
Contractor Management Program – We at G-Force believe that connecting and communicating with employees and contractors is the foundation to maintaining a robust safety culture. We have instituted a comprehensive contractor management program that allows us to actively partner with our vendors while providing us with a screening tool to ascertain the existence, health and effectiveness of each company’s safety programs. This is accomplished through face-to-face communications, emails and an initial risk assessment.
Incident Reporting – We follow a rigorous incident reporting protocol. All employees and contractors are expected to report all injuries, near misses, property damage, observations of unsafe work, environmental issues and stop work incidents. This information allows us to track trends and focus efforts for future improvement.
Our Commitment – Our commitment to workplace safety is evident through all levels of the organization. We strive to refine our processes and metrics as we work towards our goal of zero injuries.
